Various clubs/functions for adults convene in The Community Room at the library including:
We are always looking for new members and people to help out with fundraisers. Memberships start at as little as $2 for students and go up to $25 for businesses and families.
Our major fundraising events are a Book & Bake Sale and Breakfast with Santa. On-going fundraisers include:
Best Friends of the Library at Cedar Creek Lake is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster closer relations between The Library at Cedar Creek Lake and its patrons; to raise operating funds for The Library; to promote knowledge of The Library's functions and resources; and to raise special project funds for The Library.
Members of the Garden Club get together to share clippings, seeds, advice and to spread their love of gardening.
The Garden Club’s Annual Flower Show turns the Library’s Community Room in to a blooming display of beauty.
Garden Club Members have also shared the joys of gardening with the kids and teens that participate in the Library’s various programs. In the past gardening programs have included worm farms, planting a garden and taste testing edible herbs.
